UNI EN 13034:2009 - NORMA EUROPEA
Protective clothing against liquid chemicals.
Protective clothing against liquid chemicals. Limited protection against liquid chemical agents (Equipment type 6 and type PB [6]). The standard specifies minimum requirements for limited-use and reusable chemical protective garments that offer limited protection. Chemical protective garments offering limited protection are designed for use in cases of potential exposure to light splashes and liquid or low pressure aerosols, against which a complete barrier against permeation of liquids is not required (at the molecular level) .
The standard provides for mechanical tests of the materials and tests of repellency and impermeability against acid solutions and liquid hydrocarbons. Protection is obtained by applying chemicals on the materials used or by waterproof materials. Protection can be restored during washes.
