UNI EN ISO 20471:2017 - EUROPEAN STANDARD
High visibility garments.
The standard specifies the requirements for high visibility garments capable of visually signaling the presence of the user. Two types of materials are considered: the base material and the retroreflective material. The base material is fluorescent and can be yellow, orange or red. The retroreflective material can be sewn or heat set onto the garment. The visible areas of these two materials define the class of the garment.
